Welcome dear delegates and advisors, 

 

I am pleased to welcome you to the 15th edition of the Instituto Thomas Jefferson’s Model of United Nations and Organization of American States Conference: “Faith in the Future.”

 

The theme for this year’s model is meant to reflect the faith society has on a brighter future, led by you, by us. TJMUN is a safe space for everyone who is interested and eager to make a correction in the recurring harmful decisions taken by world leaders on a daily basis. I strongly believe it is time for us to take matters into our own hands and build the path we want for our generation.

 

It takes a great team to be able to bring this Model to you, and we have put our hearts into making it happen. If this is your first TJMUN, I am so glad you have decided to give it a try. And if you have already joined us in past editions, welcome back. We are thrilled to have you celebrating our fifteenth anniversary with us!
