Dear Delegates and Advisors,

On behalf of our entire team, I am honored to welcome you all to the sixteenth edition of the Instituto Thomas Jefferson Campus Querétaro Model of the United Nations and Organization of American States Conference: “Echoes of Youth”.

This year’s theme focuses on emphasizing the importance of young people participating in diplomacy and in our surroundings. Consequently, it revolves around the idea that our actions, as small as they may be, can have a tremendous impact on our reality. We believe that the specific perspective that the young can bring to the table is exactly what makes us such a powerful asset. Hence, the thesis of this Model focuses on safeguarding and inspiring youth as we, one day, will be the action of change to influence the generations to come.

Most surely, you, as delegates, will be able to propose creative and necessary solutions that should reverberate far beyond the confines of the conference room. Moreover, we hope with our soul and heart that you enjoy this opportunity as we have truly built it with love, hope and most importantly, passion.

We cannot wait to see your magnificent ideas flourish and take shape from the 5th to the 7th of December, 2024.
